Founded in 2024, Indigo Dance Company is a Los Angeles project-BASED DANCE & PRODUCTION company led by Founder & Artistic Director Dani Burd. Season 2 was Co-Directed by Madi Thomas and erika “rik” soto. Indigo creates performance works that merge dance, film, and storytelling into bold, cinematic experiences.

At the heart of Indigo’s vision is Dani’s passion for building worlds that study memory-using the literal to awaken the abstract and leaving space for each viewer to craft their own story. With an edgy streak and a commitment to pushing boundaries, Indigo experiments with sound design, movement, and atmosphere to expand how dance is felt and understood.

The company places authenticity at its core, empowering artists to draw from their own voices and lived experiences. Blurring the boundary between stage and life, Indigo presents dancers not just as performers, but as full humans.
